I don't know the franchise, I don't care all that much for horror films, and I don't follow the movie industry all that much.

Still watched the trailer for this when I saw it was well received here, and I'm happy I did. It's a nice little piece of cinema in its own right.

I think it is safe to say at this point that the 28 series and Stephen King's Cell have a lot of similarities. Having had read the book and judging by the trailer...shits gonna get weird.

Yeah I’m a little bothered by it but way more excited that we’re finally getting a sequel at all. Next one will be 28 decades later.

On 18 August 2024, during a talk at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, Macdonald confirmed DaCosta would be directing the sequel and said that principal photography was set to begin the following day. Macdonald also talked about potential plans for a third 28 Years Later film, saying "we hope there is going to be a third part" and "there is a trilogy."

It's a maybe for now
