Not just Joan Rivers’ roast but that man elevated roasts to a whole new level during his short time on this earth. Rip.

It’s a good thing we’re talking chicken titties and not women titties then.

Yeah $5 isn’t realistic. I would say it’s more like $10-$15

Well that just sucks. So if you’re a die hard fan of [anime name] and happen to be European how would you find something close to the source material?

I noticed that “creative liberty” first with the Dragonball series. I grew up watching the dubbed versions then one day discovered a little import store that sold tapes of the series with the original dialogue subtitled into English. There were a noticeable amount of differences in the story and it was slightly mind blowing to me at the time.

Just don’t watch the 1995 Judge Dredd

Careful now! Thems fightin words where I’m from! Of course I see this post the day after I finish watching both back to back. ‘95 Judge Dredd is by no means a great movie but it is a fun movie. Most action movies released in the 90’s had some sort of comic relief, as was the fashion at the time, thus it was my introduction to Rob Schneider. Movies back then didn’t get as dark/serious as they do today because they just weren’t profitable. Having watched it yesterday, I do admit a lot of it is corny, but not terribly unwatchable, it’ll always hold a special place in my heart.

They’re two very different films and both stand fine on their own within their eras.

As for Dredd, I friggin love that movie. The first time I watched it though was in theaters and thought it was ok. I wasn’t sure what I didn’t like from it. Then I watched it on a decent 4k TV with HDR and my mind was blown, a totally different experience from theaters. Clearly cinema projectors had not caught up with 4k yet so it translated into a bland and flat experience in theaters. The visuals are straight up stunning and vivid throughout in the proper viewing environment. The pacing, the story, the actors, cinematography, it all pops and gets the chef’s kiss from me. The movie is a delicious experience.

I recently rewatched that movie and had completely forgotten he had that cameo, my eyes rolled so hard I almost couldn’t finish the movie.

This! I cancelled Netflix the same day they raised their prices and never looked back. Was it inconvenient? Sure! But I found a way to cope. Society needs to relearn how to speak with their wallets instead of their mouths. Complaints go unheard otherwise.

I see so much potential in this:

  1. Roomba storage
  2. Hide and seek
  3. Jump scares
  4. TBD
