I enjoy these details so much, photos of sweeping bridges across Italian chasms of rock are fantastic, but a beautiful, supremely well-constructed paving brings me a comforting feeling. It's uneven gravel, blacktop and potholes here where I am.
I can see some numbers on the 7-segments pavement: 4, 8, 1, 5, 1, 6, 2, 3, 4, 2
I wonder how slippery that is when it rains.
For photos of beautiful, still-inhabited locales! It can be a quick snapshot of your local town, a breathtaking pro photo of a city, or a pic of some fascinating piece of modern life.
The only real rule is that it must be an actively inhabited/used location (ie not ruins or natural locales). Otherwise, go wild. Anything that you find beautiful or interesting!
