I feel it can really only come about from someone very new to chess.
I had this happen time three times in a row. Something in my teenage brain just could not comprehend what was happening and I kept on getting hit with it.
Irl the king would totally try and kill the pawn to survive.
And if the pawn overpowered the king then it's possible the pawn, or one of the bishops would become the new king.
Not a checkmate if the knight moves to the space next to the queen, then activates taunt, forcing the queen to target the knight. Bishop takes queen. Simple.
When the face plays taunt, me still go face
