I always see diplodocus and wanna call it a boopasarus because in Ark: Survival Evolved they’re friendly guys who just boop you around everywhere.

Because it's derived from the Greek kokkos, meaning berry, because the bacteria are round (like berries) and not elongated like other bacteria.
