I haven’t played Minecraft in ages so it actually took me a bit to see the Piglin as a Piglin and not an anime girl

Wait. In the Minecraft image, the nose should be the face of the drawn character. Yet, the drawn character had a pig hat with a nose. I agree with the similarities, just not the drawing!

One could argue there aren't enough pixels and the artist just "filled in the blanks"

I'm not a good enough artist to draw it but Minecraft spiders also clearly have anime eyes and a red bow on their heads.
