I haven’t played since AC 3, but this one is looking amazing. I think we are coming back to the root mechanics with this game and focusing more an assassinations and missions rather than open world exploration. I’m tentatively excited! But as always, no pre-orders!
you are missing out if you havn't played unity. The social stealth in it, and the parkour especially is the best in the series, and the mission setup in unity is superb with multiple objectives you can complete to give the mission a different finish)
(and the Jack the Ripper dlc in Syndicate is the best DLC of any of the games)
Gameplay mechanics looks similar to the Middle Earth Shadow games
Looking pretty typical Assassin's Creed. They just keep churning them out. That said, I'm playing Odyssey right now and it's actually incredible so it could be good! I just wish they'd incorporate more Prince of Persia type mechanics. The parkour is extremely dull compared to the awesome parkour puzzles from the Prince of Persia. These games are supposed to be spiritual successors but they really don't hold a candle to PoP
Tbh, I dont get the hype. This game looks so bad that some people who watched the stream and missed the transition from Assassin's Creed Project Jade to this thought they were still showing the mobile game. Idk how people can be hyped about it. Assassin's Creed Unity looks better than this by far, from a technical pov.
This actually looks surprisingly good, will definitely have to check it out once released.
First assassin’s creed game I’ve been interested since Black Flag. Definitely not gonna preorder. But very excited to see if this turns out.
It looks really great! Minor point, but I was mildly amused by Basim's complete lack of expression as he's executing the last assassination: https://youtu.be/gcLe3Rkqo_0?t=394
