(Crass commercialism, and blonde haired blue eyed white lead character issues aside)

Hopefully this indicates that diverse gender expression becoming even more socially acceptable as the Frozen generation matures into adulthood.

Have you checked the authors? Maybe it's just one, really exhausted, parent who's super done with the whole thing :P

Hmm, good question.

I spot checked 3 articles on parents, kids and Frozen, and found 3 different writers.

Man that's weird, like really fucking weird. I know it's a Disney movie and the masses obsess over those for some reason, but was it really that big a deal?

From what I experienced working retail, Frozen merch was very successful amongst Disney properties up until a couple of years ago.

I never encountered the likes of the crossplaying AMABs in the article.

Maybe the kids from that era have grown out of it by now, but yeah it was pretty successful.
