Nothing wrong with Nickleback. I rather have Nickleback than mublecore.
Personally I dislike both, but went with Nickelback since they're a more well-known example and also because some of the people (not saying all or you specifically) railing against "mumble rap" do so with racist and/or "kids these days" boomer undertones that I didn't want to risk be a distraction from the joke 🤷
