Today's game is some more Control. I went through and finished it for the second time tonight. It's definitely just as good the second time. Especially the credits. I think a lot of the feelings i felt that it felt a little rushed are still there. Like, it felt like we were in the middle of the action, then bam, climax hits. It doesn't detract from the experience but it does feel like it's a surprise though. Then again, for a game like this i'd say it deserves to lend itself a bit of realism.
As you can see i've also gone and done the mold questline. This was a lot of fun, though with the color settings of my Monitor at the time it was a pain in the ass to navigate. Still turned out to be a fun time though.
I like the detail that Ahti during the nightmare sequence is the only one not "washed out" by the Hiss. It's a cool detail that he's not affected and also helps to make him pop out.
And finally, i wanted to just stop and admire the reflections again. These are really fucking good. Like, i didn't realize game reflections could get this good. I was able to see reflections in Trench's Glasses. His glasses. That's a really good attention to detail. Albeit it comes at a performance cost obviously. And these TVs? also perfect. I love the detail it adds. Sometimes it makes me forget i'm playing a game.
Control qualifies under the "every frame a painting," category, which is a rarity. Gonna mention season 2 of Arcane, since I only just finally caught up.

Bit confusing and overly poetic at times, but damn pretty to look at.
