You're talking about phones and Internet, but to extend your thought a bit, checks don't work at the scale we run financial transactions anymore, they are scanned and recorded, then data about them is used for settlement, and they have been doing this for decades. But your point stands about phones and the Internet.
Yeah I know, but its still a valid form of payment a lot of places use, and people under 30 have mostly never wrote a check.
Thanks. My autism got triggered about how checks function and I was gonna make this same type of comment. But it's here already. The world is restored to balance.
