Dang, if only caring about the oppression of others allowed you to team up to help each other. However, there's no way to help yourself; life will always fuck you this way and it's impossible for solidarity to change that /s
Yeah, tried that for a while. I live in the southern United States. All the other inmates love their chains. At least I have my solitude.
That exactly is still privilege. Others get fucked same as you AND have to deal with politics on top.
You have to be dumb to not see that some things will benefit yourself as well as others, or, that government & corpos make life worse for others as much as for you.
So I agree with OOP, if you see your income dwindle from just about enough to always slightly less than enough, you cannot afford to ignore politics.
And I mean just having an opinion & acting accordingly, not using already tight resources for ... activism? ... tbf I dunno what exactly they meant with "do politics".
