Is this because meat is normally eaten hot, or does even cold (e.g. lunch meat) have this effect?
Fwiw, I don't eat meat and do have an above average heat tolerance. No idea if there is correlation.
Even cold, it just depends on the amount and cut.
Fatty cuts I think produce more heat than lean ones, but eating a ton either way will make you hotter.
