No, it's very clearly written in English.

[-] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 61 points 10 hours ago

You can tell it's Japanese by the way that it is.

[-] skankhunt42@lemmy.ca 4 points 10 hours ago* (last edited 10 hours ago)

How neat is that? That's pretty neat.

[-] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 16 points 9 hours ago

If that's Chinese, then this comment is written in Latin.

[-] Fedizen@lemmy.world 1 points 4 hours ago

Have you tried going outside and touching the grass?

[-] tanisnikana@lemmy.world 13 points 9 hours ago

Hey, uh, are you just like this? Are you doing a bit or something? Can you chill with us for a bit?

[-] DrWorm@piefed.blahaj.zone 16 points 10 hours ago

The Japanese word for toilet is ใƒˆใ‚คใƒฌ, which are the first three characters on this sign

[-] Zarobi@aussie.zone 0 points 1 hour ago

The Japanese word for toilet is toire ๐Ÿค”

[-] bridgeburner@lemmy.world 1 points 52 minutes ago

Yeah Japanese uses a lot of english loanwords. You can recognize them when they are written in Katakana, like ใƒˆใ‚คใƒฌ

[-] TIEPilot@lemmy.world 1 points 10 hours ago

Ok you want technical its Kanji.

[-] crazyduck@lemmy.zip 31 points 9 hours ago

There's a grand total of 2 kanji in that sentence, the rest is a mix of hiragana and katakana, what are you on about

[-] CorrenteAlternata 10 points 9 hours ago

confidently incorrect lol

[-] abfarid@startrek.website 10 points 9 hours ago

If we are being technical, that word uses katakana, not Kanji.
