if only it was. creating hormones is a complex chemistry process requiring a big factory and lots of steps, which cant really be replicated in your house. well maybe if you're an unreasonably competent chemist, which i am not so idk. the most we can do ourselves is buy the pure hormone as a powder and mix it with stuff to make it injectable.
the diy part is more the prescribing, dosing, testing, and acquiring hormones without a doctor or engaging with the medical system. we can buy hormones without a prescription online various places, which gives us the freedom to take what we think is best for us without having to wait months or years to be jerked around by an ignorant doctor.

i mean it kind of is unless a country cuts off all domestic shipping to foreign nations. as long as theres a demand for something theres a profit motive to skirt regulations and bypass import laws. you can get pretty much any drug you could want within pretty much every city in the world if you know where to look, and lots of those drugs have been illegal to possess for decades. if people want hormones and are willing to pay for them someone will find a way to sell it to them. it might be illegal but when has that ever stopped anyone?

This is generall knowledge and a bit more focused on estrogen based HRT, which tbf a lot of diy online sources are. DIYHRT is kind of a thing mostly done with estrogen because testosterone is a controlled substamce but yeah, not the point of this post :D
