I suppose since that because he still got the intended meaning from the spelling, you are right but it still bothers me when it makes written language harder to parse.

yeah, a lot of white people see it as nothing more than "trendy internet slang" or "gen z slang" and use it accordingly… tbh, it's a really gross thing to do to a dialect that is so often ridiculed and mocked by those same white people (frankly i'd even say the reduction to "internet slang" is part of the ridicule)
