Keep in mind the US loves propaganda as much as the next regime. Doing an oopsy woopsy to show you got strong weapons is almost completely in your favor.
With this admin, I always feel chances are equal they A) did it on purposes or B) fucked up again. This sort of ambiguity might be on purpose for whoever decided to let social media influencers run a country.
Well, yes and no.
The current regime in particular is run by / has leadership largely composed of sycophantic rank idiots who demonstrably suck at their jobs. They can and have fucked up things simpler than this.
