I wish I had started cpap sooner. It's so comfy. It's like a continuous stream of fresh cool air straight to my nose no matter what position I'm in. When I wake up and browse Lenny I leave it on because it's so nice. Sometimes I completely cover my head under covers to block out the morning light or to stay warm and it doesn't get stuffy. It's amazing.
I loved my Phillips CPAP for the better part of a year, until every use started coming with a distinct burning sensation in my nasal passages and throat.
Of course the VA still wondered why I wanted a new non-Phillips machine after the recall. Like hell the refurb/"fixed" version is good-enough, when the FDA banned them from making any such products going forward...
Ohhh, I have a cpap for a few months now. It never occurred to me that I can now pull the covers over my head and not suffocate! 😄
I'm sold. Where do I sign up for sleep apnea?
