The attorneys general argue that the legality of medical treatments traditionally falls under the authority of individual states, not federal agencies. Notably, this argument uses the very same logic that was used by the right wing for U.S. vs Skrmetti.

Wonder how this will go if it ends up in a case that gets up to the Supreme Court.

Wonder not! If it's something the fascists want to do the supreme court will rule that it is very cool and legal and if it will help people and not billionaires then SCROTUS will say it's unconstitutional.

It will go the opposite way. The far right justices already have multiple times shown they don't care about precedent or the intention of laws, only finding strict literal interpretations that fit their ideological views to take away rights.
