I want to elaborate on your point a little and hopefully alleviate some downvotes. Or maybe I'll attract them myself, who knows.
In a truly ideal world, yes. DIY injections shouldn't be necessary and people should be encouraged to seek out diagnosis and care from trained and accessible professionals. In such a world a message like this would encourage potentially harmful behaviour.
Even lacking such a world, it could be argued that portraying this in a positive and accepting light may lead to complacency. Id est, we don't need to work so hard for change because at least we have these nice cozy looking options.
I do not think the latter is a real risk given the plethora of other difficulties anyone going through this can experience. People have plenty of other reasons to fight.
The simple reality is that the current situation for many people is abysmal and getting treatment in a manner such as this is the only way it will ever happen for them. If someone is doing DIY HRT out of necessity it's the least we can do to make them feel more comfortable about it.
I agree with you that this is not, in the grand scheme, a "good" scenario. Just be very careful when calling it out as undesirable that the call is directed in such as way so as not to demonize the victims.
