The sad thing is if Americans saw a supermarket shelf of only carrots or Cheetos, its clone in color and size only, they would stuff their carts with bags of Cheetos instead of a rabbit's favorite snack. I love carrots but processed foods are America's comfort cooking
Just a PSA about this common myth - rabbits DO NOT naturally eat carrots.
Bugs Bunny popularized the idea, yet the only reason he ate carrots was as a reference/homage to Clark Gable in the 1934 film It Happened One Night.
Apparently a lot about Bugs Bunny was a reference to that character, including the phrase, "What's up, Doc?"
Anyway, I've seen pet-owners give their rabbits carrots as if it's a normal meal. It is not, and the high sugar in carrots can cause health issues. For the sake of your bunny, please get dietary advice from your pet's veterinarian - not from a cartoon that parodied a film character 85 years ago.
The next thing you'll be telling us is that we can't arbitrarily drop anvils on people.
I'd prefer a piano. I wanna be like Eddy Valiant's brother.
I, too, love carrots, but man, you can't tell me that a cheeto isn't more tasty.
Depends if you include the feeling of disgust and regret afterwards.
Lol, I think I would actually regret the carrots more, just because a single baby carrot actually has substance to it, while the cheeto is mostly air. Hard to eat a bag of carrots and not be full.
100kcal of cheetos and you are still hungry. 100kcal of carrots and you are filled up
People in the US actually like Cheetos?
We are a sick people.
I like both.
The jalapeno cheddar Cheetos are the best Cheetos.
I think I honestly prefer carrots.
To me, it isn't
I recently got my partner on board with replacing sugary snacks with carrots and it's great. Plan on making my own chutney soon from apples I foraged for recently, should be nice with some carrot sticks. Supermarket chutney is made with more sugar than fruit, I know it needs some to preserve it along with vinegar but they use way more than necessary. Any recipe I find the main ingredients are fruit/veg, any I find in the shop then the largest ingredient is sugar.
