I'm a cis man, I used to work in a clothing store where putting out stock of bras and panties and other undergarments was part of my job. You know, like the countless other cis men in the world who work in stores that sell womens underwear. Does she have an issue with that?
Joanne's transphobia is completely detached from reality. Is it now preferable to have a cis man working in a lingerie section than a trans woman? If she considers trans women to be cis men, then what is her problem?
It's so fucking obvious her one goal is to erase trans people from existence and generally be an agitator.
Yeah the idea that the only reason to "become" (heavy quotation marks here) would obviously be so that one can be a predator is either rooted in deep trauma or self projection. It just seems impossible to them that people might just be like this.
I think I was 11 or 12 when I heard a gay man say “how does anyone think this is a choice? Why would I choose a life that makes me more likely to be the victim of violence and oppression?” and I thought “that’s a good point, I guess it’s not a choice then.” I apply the same logic to trans folks. It’s not easy to transition, the only reason to do it would be because what is outside doesn’t match what is inside. Same reason I exercise, which is harder than watching Netflix on the couch but miles easier than transitioning.
Yeah. And the amount of times I've bought pads or yeast infection creams... I've never bought a bra because I always assumed that something you need to try on but Ive bought underwear.
Is crazy to me how we shame men who are to embarrassed to buy things in those aisles but if it's a woman who you feel should be called man.... It's nonsense.
They've moved from comparing us to y'all and past the adding in the assumption of nefariousness. We're now in the "dangerous by way of mere presence" category
Not even just presence. The mere thought of our existence is a threat. Joanne seems absolutely terrified that any random woman she sees has even the remotest chance of being a cis passing trans woman and therefore a sexual assault of her waiting to happen. It doesn't matter how ridiculous it sounds. That genuinely seems to be her fear.

It’s pretty obvious she’s a closeted trans man named “Robert Galbraith.”
Nah, she's likely just (in my opinion) some mixture of the followings:
