MODERATORS
The language used on the ad isn’t racist.
Using language that sounds just like racist eugenics being told to viewers by a beautiful blond haired, blue eyed woman is a little suspicious or tone deaf.
It seems more likely to me that they were making a euphemistic pun about her breasts. What do they have to gain by going mask off?
This already got them more attention than anything they’ve ever done before. I would say that it’s a net positive for them.
It is very much in character for white supremacists to claim innocence or do the “it’s just a joke bro” routine.
I doubt the ad men are white supremacists or otherwise ideologically motivated here, they just want to maximize the impact of the ad because profits.
Totally agree on the second point. I wanted to say something along those lines in my original comment but couldn't get the wording right. Maybe AA will end up with a reverse Budweiser situation where they lose the liberal urbanites and the conservative rural people don't step in to save them.
I'd say considering the camera literally pans down to her breasts when she says it, it is probably a boob joke.
They were just saying she has a banging body.
