Some dialects of German have this, too.

yeah, austrian german is using the "Erdapfel" too, but over the last 40+ years of german TV the "Kartoffel" has become a lot more common

In Dutch Aardpeer is the Jerusalem Artichoke not potato

Jerusalem Artichoke are a type of sunflower and potatoes are nightshades so not the same type of plant even though they both are grown for their tubers.
