No cat and mouse game of the Nazi's trying to find the partisan(s) killing their people in the woods around her community?
No intrigue of her learning who is after her and doing spy shit to stay a step ahead or targeting the investigation?
Not every aspect of WW2 was nail biting action, and we need to tell some of the less adrenaline filled important stories.
I can picture spinning it toward a "Death Note" vibe, with the whole acting all cute and concerned pivoting into heartless betrayal.
