have you actually properly tested that the results in your location are more extremist? like compared with using a vpn on ddg?
Absolutely amazing to me that you think unless someone has written a masters thesis or funded a study that they can't easily determine the nature of an obvious situation. Genuinely one of the worst types of debate/STEMlords.
Don't have to properly test it to know local biases show up in results. It's easy for anyone with 2 brain cells to determine that the majority of religious institutions that will show up for South Dakota (my state, for example) are Christian, every political candidate will be conservative/liberal, most "therapists" will be Christian, etc.
Not sure why you'd mention a VPN and DDG because neither solve the problem. The locational biases will just switch to those of somewhere else.
A search should provide generalized online results, not specific to a location, unless the user manually inputs terms for a location. Not sure what you're not comprehending about this hill I said I'd die on. You seem to be going around in circles. I'm not interested in debate or whatever you stinkass redditeurs think.
