This reminded me of a joke I heard one time. "You know how they always say that aliens built the pyramids in Egypt? This is how you know Mexicans are the best workers in history. There are also pyramids in Mexico. Nobody questions who built those."

Andrew Shultz. Very insightful and culturally savvy comedian.

Being Mexican does not impact work ethic at all.

I would recommend you reevaluate your bias

Do you just go around trying to find things to be offended at?

I don't like it when people make blatant statements. We are all humans in the end and saying all Mexicans work hard is categorizing a very large group of people. Many due work hard but that's not because they are Mexican. Immigrants some other groups of people tend to be the hard workers.

This is a watered down version of all Mexicans are drug dealers. Some certainty are but that's not because they are Mexican.

Are you saying Mexicans are lazy? Wow. That's a terrible take!

[-] possiblylinux127@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 weeks ago

I'm saying it is probably biased to say ever single Mexican somehow works hard or is lazy. Everyone is there own person.

Treat people like people and don't let there background or skin color dictate your expectations.
