Except it's the people (and the protest non-voters!) hanging themselves.
The democrats didn't do anything wrong! Who could have known doing nothing to help your constituents and also facilitating genocide is unpopular?
If only there was some historical precedent to tell us whether trying to be the "moderate, reasonable, competent republicans" will get republicans to vote for you or if it just lowers turnout.
Did not voting Democrat work?
Pretty much everyone you are talking to voted Democrat. You know who didn't? People whose families were murdered by US munitions.
You know who also didn't? The mythical anti-trump Republican voters who the Biden/Kamala campaign exclusively tried to win over.
Maybe instead of getting mad at people calling out the Democrats losing strategy you should get mad at Republicans who are destroying everything and the feckless Democrats who learned nothing from this last election.

You can be critical of the democratic party and still have voted for them. You can think they have their heads so far up their ass that they are walking around inside out, and still have voted for them.
Some of us hate the Democratic party in it's current state and want nothing more than to over turn it and "drain the swamp" but realize they are unfortunately the only safe option. That doesn't mean they don't need to change.
Even if you didn't vote Democrat, you have every right to rip their proverbial heads off and shit down their proverbial necks.
They are the opposition party... and they're doing nothing.
Yes, anyone who has a problem with the Dems is automatically the bad guy. Democrats are perfect and never deserve criticism even from people who voted for them every damn year

The only way the democrats could have won is if they changed direction. Nothing I did could have made Harris promising to build the wall popular.

We did the right thing by abstaining. We sent a message to the Democrats. We cost them the win, and they took genocide off the party platform. In fact, Kamala Harris is starting a movement to impeach Donald Trump. We did it!
That’s not an answer. You fuckheads show up whenever there is even a slight effort to effect change. I assume you don’t think every single thing the DNC does is correct. What’s the Party Approved way to suggest even the slightest modification to our dear leader’s perfection?

They catastrophically ignored a massive red flag, shouted down leftists for trying to point out said red flag and then spend their time now in the middle of a coup commenting with acidic poorly written sarcastic immitations of leftists in order to cope with losing and being crushingly wrong.

I know the Democratic party has operated for the last 20 years as if the presidency is the literal only thing they need to bother to run for, but there are actual elected officials that we expect to Serve the People. Which I know is a shocker to you liberals because anything that's not serving solely the interest of the bankers is probably upsetting to you.

Nazi USA sending people to concentration camps, making being trans illegal, freezing all foreign aid, putting an unelected billionaire in charge of dismantling government programs so billionaires can get even more tax breaks, and sending the economy into a huge recession, while supporting the complete genocide of Palestine and leaving Ukraine to Russia == tepid support for Israel's genocide and none of the rest of those things.
