I recently built a PC and my 4070ti Super has this plug. Would it be a smart idea to just put a small stick-on heatsink on the plug itself? I have a few lying around so if there's no harm to it I might just put it on there.

I've not had issues with my 4070ti in the past few years, I recall it drawing less than 300W peak, (tdp on the super is 275W I think) nearly half the draw the 5090 has, won't get anywhere near that warm.

4070 doesn't draw as much power so should be fine.
