MODERATORS
Americans will never see any real progress in their lifetimes as long as the Democratic party in its current incarnation stands intact.
Conservatives are by their nature evil and reactionary, but also simultaneously eternal and temporary. They are a society's dead skin being shed before the new form emerges, its cocoon of petulant narcissism refusing to accept reality.
The problem with neoliberal Democrats is that they don't realize that they're conservative too, and as such must be shed.
Democratic party suddenly becomes a full-blown socialist party, complete with an anti-capitalist manifesto. Imagine
Republicans would win every election for at least 2 generations.
IDK, Sanders did pretty well on that Fox News appearance. If suddenly there weren't both sides telling people to hate the left, you might be surprised at the results.
