Just switch to Jerboa. Yes, it's a bit janky, but endure. It's well worth it. Edit: forgot to write, a place where Jerboa icon is is the place where Infinity stood for 4 years. Same phone, yeah.
I wish, but I’m on iOS and the equivalent, Mlem, is straight alpha jank. I actually turned the spot Apollo used to be in, into a folder containing both the web shortcut, Mlem and also a shortcut to Lemmy Community Browser and use all three for different things for now due to feature disparity
Just use your web browser on mobile. It works pretty damn well. Eventually we'll get an Apollo-level equivalent, but the web browser works SOOOOOO much better on Lemmy as compared to reddit. The responsiveness and themes work great.
Ooh what is Lemmy Community Browser?
Im on iOS. I have the beta mlem app. I mainly just use safari. The auto scrolling feed is annoying me. Is there a way to disable that?
Here's the community browser: https://browse.feddit.de
I'm working on a iOS client that's similar to Apollo, with the swiping upvote (my favorite feature lol). So if in a few days you want an alpha invite I can send it to you. It's already at a point where it's on par with Mlem but I'd like to spend a few days fine tuning a few things to get it to a place I would daily drive it.
Yeah I’m willing to try it. Just DM me when you’re ready, cheers dude
I have to say, I kind of like that Android has a better app than iOS for once (albeit barely).
What do you mean for once? Especially in the FOSS space iOS is woefully underrepresented. Although I suppose that makes sense given the walled garden, closed source approach of apple
