It's the default on lemmy. I guess allowing the user to change it would be fine but there is a reason for it

Woah that's crazy! A while back I watched every single task master I could find on youtube. I liked it up until the last couple seasons where I felt it became too scripted... I've never met someone else who's seen it

I've never actually watched futurama. I've seen it a few times at my friends house but never payed it much attention

Hmm that's a good point, however the article you linked said that they are unlikely to be lethal even if probably unsafe for part of the population. It is essentially an energy drink and should be seen as such

That makes sense. I had assumed that the participants had used adderall in the past but that might not be true upon further inspection

[-] Slated@vlemmy.net 2 points 1 year ago

That's a good point. I mainly thought it was interesting that people discount caffeine. It can be a very powerful stimulant and even for some people I know who are diagnosed with adhd an alternative to adderall. I'd only heard it from them though and never seen anything about it.

Caffeine supplements can be dangerous when misused but so can lots of other things. I would argue that promoting coffee and tea as a natural source of caffeine is much better than supplements

Thank god they're in their Jam era. I'll be bumping this at work today

I'm working on a iOS client that's similar to Apollo, with the swiping upvote (my favorite feature lol). So if in a few days you want an alpha invite I can send it to you. It's already at a point where it's on par with Mlem but I'd like to spend a few days fine tuning a few things to get it to a place I would daily drive it.

I play 3.5 I find it’s the perfect balance of skill as well as luck. There aren’t stupid ideas like advantage or anything to muck up the gameplay. Only problem I would say is the excessive bonus adding but that’s not a huge deal. It also probably helps it was the version I learned first and the version my group plays

Soulseek is great. I use it to get anything obscure that isn't on Spotify or bandcamp or whatever. Old european prog is generally hard to find ;)

[-] Slated@vlemmy.net 2 points 1 year ago

Yep! It should be almost exactly the same!

God I hope so. Live on KEXP is ALWAYS good

It links to the original server that the user posted on. It can be very useful for navigating around the fediverse. However I will say I don't use it all that much.
