Not to say that everyone that votes for Trump is a Nazi, but we do know who the Nazis are voting for.

No reason to vote for militarized borders, death to the planet, increased police violence and on and on which is what both the democrats and republicans will produce. Organize outside of electoralism.

Perfect is the enemy of good.

Genocide isn't a good. Further militarizing the border and expanding the violence against immigrants isn't a good. Continuing police violence isn't a good. I can keep going.

So vote for the known nazi instead?

Whether you like it or not, one of the two are going to win and run the country. I'd rather try to keep it from being the nazis.

I see, these are the only issues to be concerned about. Yup, that's it. There is nothing else at all. Well I guess we should just sit on our hands as others bleed. /s

Maybe vote for someone who is more likely to negotiate over these issues. I wonder who is more likely to listen.

There is no indication that either candidate would listen or would have any motivation to listen. Genocide support should be a non starter but you just don't care I guess.

“And I feel like there’s a lack of listening, and I just feel like I need to bring that up because it affects my life and people I really care about’s life …,” the student added.

“And again, this is about the fact that your voice, your perspective, your experience, your truth cannot be suppressed, and it must be heard. … Our goal should be unity, but not uniformity,” Harris said. “And the point that you’re making about policies that relates to Middle East policy, foreign policy. We still have healthy debates in our country, about what is the right path. And nobody’s voice should be suppressed on that.”

Trump just looks out for himself.

Reversing the tide takes time. Do you want to start now or later?

arms embargo day one is a basic thing anyone going for president who cares about people at all should do at the minimum. Harris is against an arms embargo ergo she doesn't care about thousands of dead babies thus she should have zero power over anyone.

Good luck getting anyone into presidency who would do this. This genocide isn't a sudden affair, it's a continued issue that spans decades.

You think we're gonna solve it in a day?

How long was the Vietnam War? Afghan war? Nearly 20 years, and those were wars where the US was directly involved.

How long has the Israel-Hamas war being going for? Just over a year (if we say it started on 7th Oct 2023).

You want progress? You want the genocide to stop? Then you vote for someone that will lean towards progress. Not voting is the worst thing you can do.

Always vote. https://youtu.be/_gbDAvK42yA?t=197

Except Harris has made it clear she doesn't want "progress". As president she wouldn't immediately arms embargo an easy thing to do and the bare minimum.

And you not voting will help..how? By failing to vote, you become complicit in the failings of whatever fascist or gemocidal maniac you allowed into office by your inaction. You're not stopping the war in Gaza by passing on voting - you're just allowing these systems of injustice to continue without you by your defeatism and inaction. Shame.

Reversing the tide takes time

We'll need 60% more food produced iby 2050, and we'll be dealing with climate change and increasing water scarcity.
Also large numbers of innocent people are being murdered daily using weapons we provide, with no progress in halting that at all-- in fact the corruption of our government looks to be permanent.

We dont have time for slow and steady, and trusting existing systems to change when they are completely captured by foriegn interests is lunacy.

Sweet as, keep on keeping on. I see there is no convincing you.
