I assumed we’d always been defederated from lemmygrad but I’ve started to see some of their communities in my searches. Are we federated with them?

Oh thank you for that. That makes sense as an explanation. For example I can access !china@lemmygrad.ml or !zhong1guo2@lemmygrad.ml
