6 months ago, I asked about m43 for wildlife photography (https://lemmyverse.link/lemmy.blahaj.zone/post/5660675)

Today, I use an OM-1 MkII, and it is easily the best birding/wildlife camera I've ever owned. Would absolutely recommend it!

Help finding bag (lemmy.world)
submitted 10 months ago by TheBiscuitLout@lemmy.world to c/m43@lemmy.ca

Right, this is driving me up the wall. I’d really, really like a bag similar in layout to the Domke F2, but scaled to fit a GX9 and set of m43 lenses, if that makes sense.

All the shoulder bags I can find are either lacking in pockets and lens dividers, or are deep for FF lenses like my Thinktank bag, so everything gets lost in the depths.

Surely this can’t be such a big ask? Is there anything between little bags that hold a half a camera and one lens, and these deep messenger bags that would hold a whole studio’s worth of nonsense. Can I not have a Domke Fm4/3?

I've just taken up wildlife photography again, and my partner and I are planning out what body/lens ecosystem we'll take up.

I used four thirds (before micro four thirds was a thing) back in the day, before moving to Canon and ultimately drifting away from photography.

Now I'm back, still with some canon glass and an entry level canon body, but I'm tempted by micro four thirds, partly because of the extra punch from the 2x crop factor, and partly because I just love the innovation that I remember Olympus used to do, including the four thirds system itself.

So, is it worth turning to m43 before I sink more in to canon?
