Beautiful but im glad the scene got cut, it removes a lot of the mystery you get from the first time watching it. Not knowing the aliens stages or how it reproduces is part of the horror.

On an unrelated side note, I always bring up Alien as an example of how movies can use silence to build tension.

Saying this as a huge anti-trump, left winger..the one advantage trump has on that front is he doesn't seem to care about kompromat anymore, he knows his supporters will still eat his shit even if he started lining up and shooting them.

Not that that helps him with leverage on China, just that he's so far removed from consequences for his actions that it's doubtful blackmail would be extremely effective.

Even in the best of cases, landowners may not be generating a direct profit but are generating equity in the home.

I had to explain this to one of my landlords (he was a first time landlord and it was his old place) once a long time ago. He was quite shocked that he wasn't making nearly as much money as expected when the homestead exemption was lifted from the home. He tried to increase our rent well above the average for the area because of it and we had to threaten to walk.

Both sides were assholes really. Mexico originally allowed Americans to immigrate to the Texas region because Mexico Government wanted them to cull/exterminate the native American population and act as a buffer state to the US, which the American immigrants were highly effective at doing.

Then the Texans got pissed that Mexico wouldn't let them own slaves after they helped clear the lands. There were no heroes in this part of history or many other parts, a bulk of human history and modern day are just groups of people acting selfishly with disregard for other human life.

Nvidia drivers have been pretty stable on linux for awhile now. My main problem with nvidia atm is lack of support for hardware acceleration for Android emulation
