Yep, have completely lost interest now. Asking users to pay is one thing, but then going to closed source.. That's a no from me dawg

That's 100% AI generated

It was at the peak of AI hysteria. You could do a shit on the side walk and say it was AI generated, and youd get VC funding for your next AI powered turd.

AMD being the way that they are - they have a good opportunity to get ahead and they'll just fumble hard. The bare minimum here would be to just be priced better than nvidia, but no doubt they charge around the same and their drivers will be trash offering no compelling reason for people to switch or upgrade.

I would not risk 36TB of data on a single drive let alone a Seagate. Never had a good experience with them.

And they probably use that for some sort of training data

Thunderbird had this for so long, it was definitely something I noticed when having to use Outlook at work.

Yep, have one. Its perfectly organised, because those things always go back in that drawer so that's just where they go.

They showed a once per year notification which reminds people they can donate.

I think the donation notification works

I thought it was good to see to be honest. None of this just conjures itself out of thin air, and it'd be worse if they had no other way to get money except sell out to some corporate entity.

Some people don't even think about donating, not that they don't want to but it hasn't even occurred to them.

A gentle reminder on occasion is completely acceptable and uses no dark patterns to get you to donate.

Its not a street fight. Rules are there to make it a fair fight, and protect them from permanent damage in order to continue fighting.
