This is an amazing article and makes me want to do so much more than I've already been doing to help put the Fediverse out there for people.
Yes he did admit to rigging the election. Are they going to do anything about it, probably not.
Often enough you still want to talk about the project, so where is the border from when you should personally be talking about it and it should be it's own thing? Is it when someone see's the product more instead of you as the creator?
Yes I'm mainly talking about a general Fediverse account through Mastodon, PixelFed or another system.
My concern is obviously if a project is slow developing it might be weeks before you see another post and it just looks like another idea or project that someone just dropped if there's not frequent posts.
So say if I was to work on a project or something. At what stage would it make sense for it to become it's own account? Like is it when it gets to the point of it's own account to show the project off instead of using my own personal one?
Why is it good practice to tag the mod?
That is completely understandable... Would you say community based bots for those small use cases for certain people maybe make more sense than a full reddit bridge?
So what is stopping a one-way bridge? Reddit content here but no content back?
I thought most people moved from Reddit due to the way the platform was managed with AI stuff and the API
At least it's a good attempt at showing Reddit users that they could move across and not loose anything, getting one user across at a time is the goal with this sort of thing wouldn't it?
I understand making it so you can see when someone has used AI stuff to help create the content but pushing people to actually create content using AI is another thing.
The sad thing is I've seen people 'enjoy' AI content and it sucks with so many people actually wanting to create content and good content at that now being pushed further down the path for AI content the death of YouTube might come sooner.
All i'm hoping is that people move to other platforms such as PeerTube (If they ever fix discovering new videos).
Pretty much, and personally it would be straight to Firefox or Zen
