A backwoods West Virginia radio host had 0 power over the success of his son's video game magazine. I fail to see any nepotism here.

The only one I know of is Griffin McElroy, founding editor of Polygon. His mom died when he was young and his dad was a radio DJ, so he didn't have family capital to build from. I don't know if there are other co-founders and if they had family money or not.

Ranked choice voting allows you to rank each candidate in order of preference. This voting style is picking up steam in local and state level community initiatives, and is likely to allow the US to break from a 2 party system.

Change is scary to Republicans so they are trying to vilify it and ban it for federal elections.

That would be great. Use a bunch of weed slang, bud, flower, sticky-icky, and then the eggs only contain lavender and chewing gum.

Wastewater-based epidemiology. Basically we track infectious diseases in wastewater, and the results guide public health decisions.

I didn't realize how many challenges and on the fly design changes I would have building on a slope, but I think they are still coming out really nice.
