Da ich selber angeblich LRS haben soll und teilweise sehr langsam Fraktur lese, eventuell?

[-] reinei@lemmy.world 6 points 20 hours ago

Die Moderatorys von feddit.org können anscheinend nur schlecht Fraktur lesen! Also müssen wir schnell alle eine Revolution in dieser Schriftart planen, damit wir nicht aufgedeckt werden können!

... Warte was‽ Okay ähm, natürlich würde ich so etwas niemals vorhaben! *Läuft weg *

Everyone here is talking about how not having eyelids is messed up while I think being able to rotate your eyes either completely upward or completely forward is crazy!

(Also having no eyelids to protect against the aggressive blinding lights of your predators/prey probably beats having your eyes destroyed by said predators/preys toxin spewing tentacles any day if the week!)

Great one! (Not just a nice one, a great one even.)

Now get out! Just Get Out!

And that's the thing:

Assuming it did, you couldn't see it approach until it hit you because it's moving at the speed of light! It could also have happened, but just super far away such that it will never reach us due to expansion between its origin point and us being faster than c!

Also just because the universe is frickin old doesn't mean it is statistically bound to have happened. There are plenty of ways of making it even more astronomically unlikely but still possible...

Fine! I'll use a second order polynomial to fit this instead. But that's the last order I'm willing to go to!

So is the lack of sp-hybridising and resultant ~120° angle a second layer of this joke? 🤔🙊

So you are basically trying to humblebrag to everyone here that you already achieved a fucks-given-count of 0 for this app?

Impressive, if not a little underhanded. But still very impressive!

Also some of them close to me allow you to rent/lend actual telescopes with a library card!

Aren't we also "just" animals as well though?

(Not defending either side, I just really dislike it when statements suggest we aren't also literally animals that somehow figured out to think slightly more than others...)

Those are some interesting gradients!

Also I can't unseen that smile in the west now...

Now I want to know wether the rules allow you to stand perfectly inside your mirror image (don't have a 5th ed./any other D&D ed. rulebook to check myself, sorry)... Because if it does (without going all wavy or otherwise distorting) and it casts a reflection this could be a fun "find the hidden vampire in this banquet hall with mirrors" scenario!
