I've heard it's been through two rounds of test screenings that both went really well, which is why I have some hope. The versions played in the test screenings aren't the final version though...
Aren't they going on strike soon?
Writers still haven't recovered from the 2016 election lol
But fr I think NBC making most of the good sitcoms is a big part of it. NBC has been making hit sitcoms since the 70s, but for the first time in awhile, they don't have any hit comedies anymore. In the 70s, they had Sanford & Son, in the 80s they had Cheers, in the 90s they had The Cosby Show and Friends, in the 2000s they had The Office, in the 2010s they had Parks & Rec and Community and 30 Rock and Superstore and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
I do think that ABC might be poised to take over NBC's spot as top comedy broadcaster though, Black-ish was a smash hit and now they have Abbott Elementary as well.
How would this benefit the Fediverse?
I'm not opposed to this idea, I'm just not sure what it would accomplish. Even Mark Zuckerberg understood that you would need a host of celebrities to get people on board with Threads. Nostr has Jack Dorsey and Edward Snowden but you don't see tons of people flocking to that platform.
You think that's enough? Or do we still need to give them more money?
(Let's take note that the citizens are still poor, and Ukraine is still losing, reportedly still being outgunned as well)
Not entirely wrong though, that's why I don't play Fortnite anymore, and it's why I mostly play online games in bot-only mode
What kinda goofy response was this from Musk? AYO!
Can someone explain what's wrong with the original post? He's not wrong.
Interesting that it doesn't mention how Vantablack is gatekeeping FediPact and keeping certain instances from joining because she doesn't like them
You could always make your own community, or join one that isn't so heavily moderated
And yes, I know that Lemmy has a censorship problem, but exploding-heads.com is a pretty good instance if you ever wanna come back
If you download it and crack the DRM you own that file, at least
Only 90 days?
