honestly, i started the demo, and while the gameplay wasn't bad, the characters and story didn't grab me at all, and i lost interest almost immediately. maybe i'll snag it in a year or two, after the GOTY, during a sale

the crashes seem to relate to jerboa trying to load whatever its default instance is, so i turned off my data and wifi, and opened jerboa, navigating to the add account screen.
after i'd added in my credentials, i quickly turned on data/wifi on my phone and submutted the form, and now i'm logged in and jerboa works like a charm
idk if it'll work for you, but it might be worth a shot
