The problem is that the machines are not learning. They are taking a statistical amalgamation of the input images and outputting a selected part of each relevant input (not how people learn or make inferences BTW)

it’s a matter of fighting the laws based on the fact that they’re infringing on medical rights in general, not because they’re targeting us.
Realistically, I think the reason republican strategists chose to pursue these laws was less out of pure bigotry and more because it lets them set precedents regarding the rights of state governments to insert them selves in personal medical affairs.
If anything democrats should push for legislation that strengthens people’s medical rights and frame it as being about abortion access. Framing it as about trans rights would just turn us in to a perpetual political football.

The only issue is the nvidia driver. Not an issue for someone without a graphics card or using AMD. Some people might bounce off it even if it is a 5 minute thing to get working.
Gas turbines base load still take time to spin up and have lengthy shut down and start up procedures, even if they can be shut down. They are faster than a steam plant, but are not designed shut down and start up repeatedly over the course of a day.
The real question is why we are building any fossil fuel plants at all, and the answer is simple, they have immense lobbying power and vast full spectrum media campaigns that they use to prevent entirely viable existing alternatives from being built.

I’m just… wondering what the internal corporate process that led to this. Like, they had to get people to code this feature, like imagine being the person who gets told “ oh yah, you and your team are implementing and integrating the new feature that sorts video feeds by color.”
It’s sophistry all the way down. Everyone should stop using private jets TBH. Flight as a mode of travel should be scaled back to the places where it really is the only practical option.
But major media outlets are not willing to present ideas to the public that might endanger the share prices of huge companies like Boeing, Exxon and American Airlines, except as sophistry to call someone that disagrees with them a hypocrite.

Got a few inherited from my grand and great grand parents, they’re amazing and perfect. Even got a cast iron muffin tin which is great for making Yorkshire puddings.
