Definitely, just to prevent it from being normalized. Just like crypto, flying cars, psychics, MLM businesses, this shit will fade in to the into the domain of low skill grifters.

Right now, the anti trans rhetoric on the right is a fringe bugbear. Something that will probably fade from right wing politics as it fails to gain traction among voters.
If the democrats campaign on it, suddenly people in the republican sphere who didn’t really care will decide to care a lot about it simply to spite the democrats. Likely only empowering a push for more anti trans laws in state legislatures, as well as stoking stochastic violence.

Being really weird does not lead to electoral success.
It’s bad faith to try and move the goal post and act like this conversation was about anything but heating effect and climate change.
It is a fact that natural gas (read methane) infrastructure and power generation has a greater heating impact than coal.
Edit: want to be very clear here, I’m not sayin coal is clean. I’m not saying it is good to live next to a coal plant. I’m not saying build more coal plants.
I’m saying, don’t replace coal with natural gas. Put in solar, nuclear, wind, geothermal, hydro electric, ANYTHING but natural gas. If none of that is possible, then leave the damn coal plant until it is possible. Locking our selves in to 20~30 years of gas is basically guaranteeing a catastrophic climate disaster.
Imagine if they replaced the crash screen with a fake automatic update.
Change is slow, and you will get none if politicians do not make concrete commitments. And we don’t get any concrete commitments from them unless they think they need them to win.
Voting is not enough, and only voting does not free one from complicity. Especially if the side one votes for loses because they refused to make commitments that convinced voters to show up for them. Right now, the democrats are not making commitments that are getting voters out. And condescending to other voters because you think they are naïve does not get voters out ether, if anything, it might push them away.
If we want to prevent trump we need to get the Democratic Party to make commitments that will get voters to show up. Not tell people they are dumb for demanding more from their government than “not being trump”.
I loved those things when I visited, found it interesting how the tram network kinda traced the old border.
It’s soap. Like, traditional, no frills soap. Vegetable oil reacted with potassium hydroxide. It’s a very effective way to make oils mix with water so as to rinse them off of stuff. So if you just want a substance that removes excess oil from your body, it works.
Basically no other major cosmetic company sells a product like that anymore and if you don’t trust those companies, that’s what Dr. Bronners is for. Just gotta deal with the ranting on the bottles.
Eh, yah, think those sound like good rules but I wouldn’t worry about enforcing them to hard unless there’s someone flaunting them repeatedly.
There is a … massive Asterisk on tik history. He’s does great research on historical operations and battles, but, uh, keep away from anything outside that, he has a super weird ideological agendas and misquotes references or makes stuff up in side videos. Some side videos are fine, even good in their sourcing, but many are low key unhinged.
