Oh I'm thinking of the woman who didn't have insurance but her dad did, so he pretended to have the same disease so he could hand her the medication she needed.

I think the insurance fraud episode is way later as the hospital director is played by Monica from friends. But maybe they did that twice and I just forgot?

I told them my os is non standard, Graphene, and if they need anything more than 2fa codes, it'd need to be on one of their devices.

Yeah, it's weird to be an American and hope the silver lining of trump is that the rest of the world keeps making better choices in response to how bad this is.

I get that the simple language option exists, and i definitely think I'm not qualified to really argue what Wikipedia should or should not do. But I wanted to share what my lemmy feed looked like when I clicked into this post and I gotta say, I sorta get it.

Over a million Americans died to covid, and his administration chose to not send ventilators to blue states because they didn't deserve the help.

The joke in Team America is that the destruction they're trying to prevent be 9/11 times 1000. Well, covid had gotten us to almost half at 1.2 million. https://www.pnas.org/doi/epub/10.1073/pnas.2313661121

He and his administration helped covid kill many people directly and indirectly by sewing doubt in the CDC.

Nothing different. I'd argue that's another indicator that the US's 'health' has been bad for a long time.

If you can, go get a checkup.

Turns out my vitamin D levels were so low I had most of these symptoms and needed blood work done to know that was my problem.

So many things cause fatigue and similar and some can be solved with super inexpensive meds.

Yup, Democrats only win elections when they show up to vote. And Democrats did not show up this year.

I haven't dived into the article, but it is about NYC where public transit is good enough that owning a car just isn't necessary like most of the US.

I work in tech as well, and I think the biggest reason is workplace mobility. Working at Google famously makes it easy go get a new job.

When work has sucked for me, I went job hunting not trying to fix a broken system
