I've been reading books about the region for about 20 years. Where have you been? There is no difference between the parties when it comes to that conflict. They have other differences but not about Israel Palestine. Israel is the major Middle East foothold for American empire and policy has been consistent there for 50 years. Biden/Harris are currently committing genocide there, escalating the terror there to the worst levels in the history of the conflict. It does not get worse than genocide, nothing republicans can do is worse than genocide, there are hundreds of thousands dead. Fuck Harris, Biden, and Trump for this. Don't come to a thread about what to do about ending the genocide and defend a comment that says voting for Harris (SECOND IN COMMAND OF SAID GENOCIDE) would have stopped it.

You can't get worse than the Biden Harris stance. And there is no way Donald Trump is going to be better. So yeah equally bad.

That wouldn't have helped this situation EDIT: I voted Harris, but if you think she would have changed course away from pro genocide once elected you are insane. She has been second in command of the genocide for a year. She made very clear statements of total support for Israel. She was confronted by the left to change course and she told them to go fuck themselves.

Israel is a terrorist state. And since my country the USA won't stop arming and funding them, we are a terrorist state too.

To all the people saying there isn't an easy solution: you are wrong, the solution is actually very easy, easier than most international problems. It's the solution the entire political world has been willing to get behind for 50 years or so. If I remember correctly it's that Israel return to its 1967 borders and get rid of its nuclear weapons. Every couple years the UN votes on this, the results are always like 230 to 2. The whole world agrees, except for Israel and the US, and the US vetoes it every time.

Imagine getting 99% of the world to agree to something, and thinking the problem is too complicated to solve.

There is a big march for a better climate future in NYC tomorrow it would be nice to see it "advertised". We could do the same for any significant upcoming action?
