Yeah, bullshit patents.

What's really interesting is that study was made and the distribution of social drinkers, nice drunks, mean drunks, etc, roughly matches that of the humans.

Probably the 1st front traction van, the Type H had a long career being built from 1947 to 1981. Has quite a cult status in Europe.

And now instead of stopping producing them, we will continue with the excuse 'we have the cure for the disease!'

And neo-nazis, it seems. That's what the PDs are filled with.

No it's not, ad blocker is working perfectly... :)

Now even more seriously, the amount of ads and how aggressive they are is what led to people using adblockers. It's ridiculous having to see 2 full 20 sec ads at the beggining and then interrupting as it pleases every 3 or 4 mins. On top of that the ads are all lies or manipulation. Fuck Google and their shitty ads.

YouTube Premium? LMAO! Not worth the price, if they had a simpler cheaper tier, just for no ads, 2€ per month I'd might consider it. 8.50€? Fucking rip off. Again, fuck Google.

I'm European and even I know that the U.S. Constitution's Bill of Rights applies to EVERYONE in U.S. territory, independently of being citizens or not.

In Europe, specially in the EU, these "law enforcement officers" would have been immediately arrested and subsequently charged with attempted murder. And definitely would be convicted. These situations very but very rarely happen here. And when they do, the perpetrators are brought to justice.

An armed law enforcement agent in most countries of the EU can only draw its gun in very restrict conditions, mainly only if own or others life is in clear and immediate danger, not perceived danger but justifiable and objective danger, and can only shoot to prevent loss of life. Also the measure of force has to be similar to the one used by the threatening party, cannot be greater. For example, shooting someone who is at distance, alone, armed with a knife is not justifiable, since the measure of force of a gun is greater in this situation (longer reach). Only if the individual with the knife was very close and capable of causing death is the shooting justifiable.

Oh, and there isn't anything like qualified immunity here. There are some specific laws governing law enforcement powers and actions, but in general same laws apply for all.

I'm done with Xiaomi. Good hardware but very intrusive software. Just to change the ringtone or the notification sound I have to accept being spied by them. Had to use a 3rd party software to change these. Wallpapers? Nah, accept the terms to be spied on as you use our theme software. I'm done, writing this on a Redmi Note 11 but already ordered a Moto G23 to replace it. Love the screen of the Note 11 but tired of the bullshit push to relinquish control of the device.

Will try the Pixel Experience ROM after I transfer everything to the new phone but I need banking apps working, not much hopeful.

Whem the Fairphone 5 comes out I will buy one. Decided it is time to invest on fair devices.

The dialog shown does not comply to the GPDR. Makes it very difficult and time consuming to reject cookies and consent, according to the GPDR it has to have an option to do it quickly. This just a giant dark pattern dialog to make users give up.

"Last week, the text-based social media platform reported a record 100 million sign-ups in just five days."

LOL The biggest bullshit of the year... Meta just created shadow accounts of all Instagram users, without their knowledge or consent...

Seems that someone at Reddit decided to grant read access to RIF, this morning I opened the app just for kicks and it wouldn't load anything. Well I tried again after lunch (Europe CET time) and it could access the front page but I was logged out. Trying to login shows a different logon page and even with valid credentials gives out a 'Bad request' response.

That means they are not just feeling the heat, they are probably burning really bad.
