It's-a me...

It wasn't her phone that did it:

"Some sort of recording software was used in the car — that in itself is a breach of my privacy," she said.

The lesson is to avoid these services if possible or communicate sensitive info silently/by text when you're not in a trusted vehicle.

Yeah, it's getting addicting! I just found so much JS that is totally unneeded to watch Paramount+:

What the hell is all this crap? Man... so much tracking going on. All the DEFAULTs are blocked and the TV I'm watching still loads perfectly fine. And if you try to go to the stepcattle.com one out of pure curiosity, uBlock warns you against it, yet robots prevent any info on it from appearing in search engines... capitalist bastards...

Wow, incredible! Thanks, I had no idea.

But it’s so much easier to get yourself to move when you have to to get somewhere than it is if it’s purely for exercise. At least for me.

That's definitely not just in your case!!

Might wanna edit the noun into your post title!

Careful: that then enters the world of ad fraud, which randos like us doing the clicking isn't considered as.

Absolutely fascinating and promising. Thanks for sharing. Any downvoters clearly didn't read the article.

Doing so would break nearly all Internet access. Do you really run a whitelist rather than a blacklist? Is it not tedious to add hundreds of domains to one rather than a few to the other?

[-] joshchandra@midwest.social 13 points 2 weeks ago

Wait, so you literally have hundreds of accounts? How do you manage them all?

This is exactly what I was gonna say: I'm amazed that so many millions of people can tolerate its atrocious UI. Even now, the amount of notifications I get from the constant text channels across "servers" (which is such a misnomer for merely "communities") is so ridiculous that I ignore 99.9% of it.

Remember, "AI" (autocomplete idiocy) doesn't know what sense is; it just continues words and displays what may seem to address at least some of the topic with no innate understanding of accuracy or truth.

Never forget that ChatGPT 2.0 can literally be run in a giant Excel spreadsheet with no other program needed. It's not "smart" and is ultimately millions of formulae at work.

Hi everyone, I run near-weekly board game nights at the Festival Foods grocery store in West Allis, WI for the purpose of fostering community, keeping our minds sharp by learning new games, and defeating loneliness in a fun way. I've also recently branched out into organizing dinners for the group (we go Dutch, though, to be clear), which you can still join even if you don't care for board games.

You are all welcome, even if you don't live in West Allis! For those who prefer it, I also duplicate all events on FB for users' convenience: https://www.facebook.com/groups/westallisboardgames

We normally get a minimum of 4-7 attendees every single time. The headcount has never gone higher than 14. The food court can take 24 people if it were to be totally crammed; I counted the seats!
