The extinction of species is picking up speed, and instead of slowing it down by eg protecting the climate, we focus our limited resources on re-engineering one extinct animal … humanity is lost. I just finished reading this article by William Rees of the UBC about the phenomenon of overshoot, which I highly recommend. https://lnkd.in/eqJxUZrP
