Breaking news ground here Capernicus
Exactly my experience as well, I work in a very conservative industry and everyone who mentions rank choice voting blames the R losses on it. The first vote with it, it was clear that they had their head in the sand about how it worked because they thought it would fail, then came the "Rank the red" which didn't work. It's very surprising to them when people don't vote the way they think they should. Their whole attitude is very childish and tribal.
Also it's cool to see another Alaskan on here.
I'm not sure it would survive a repeal measure vote, any conservative support it seemed to have has eroded because it hasn't worked in their favor and their team keeps losing. I've even heard it blamed for elections that weren't ranked choice like the Anchorage mayoral election. We'll see how long it lasts but I'm not hopeful
Pleads the filth*
While I can't say I've paid more for less as a whole, I've definitely had a higher fun to dollar with SC than many other more finished, flashier games. It's what you make of it and the people you meet along the way, just like any other MMO. It definitely has its warts and issues, but I think a lot of people also hate it because they were told it was bad and evil and I don't think that's really true. It has the trappings of any large game service products which people call greedy but it does cost a lot to run. I think a lot of the criticism boils down to that's a lot of money and not a lot of fast progress, and that's fair but this game is also unique in being public from a far too early point of development and many other games with smaller scopes are just as slow when developing a new engine/IP (relative to the scope) but the public doesn't see much until we get to just about this point in development.
I went to an airshow a few years ago and the F22 raptor demo team was doing their show, which was amazing and the recruiter was working his pitch into the show the whole time. Between the talking points they would play music and the one that stood out the most was BYOB by System of a Down, which is a complete and total 180 to what they were pitching. It was incredible the cognitive disconnect.
Nasal strips don't stop your mouth from flopping open, or keep you from swallowing your tongue, both of which are common causes of snoring.
Those don't seal well, so probably not
Aircraft maintenance has been doing the negative pressure unlock tests on cockpit doors for decades, its honestly surprising what isn't common knowledge. Like others have said, rapid decompression of only a portion of the aircraft is very bad, and will result in massive structural failure as individual compartments aren't pressure rated and will blow apart. The doors I've had experience with had large panels that would pop out when in a negative pressure event.
I think sex is an adjective in this case as it clarifies what type of orgy happened
Wait, you don't?
Trump is a figurehead and mouth piece only, it's clear the backing and power behind him is pushing him, not the other way around. If Trump is dead or unelectable then they will sub in someone else. Trump's "saving grace" is that he was good at speaking in a relatable but obfuscating way which worked to foment the masses against imagined grievances, but that's not a trait unique to him. He is unfortunately replaceable with not much loss in momentum.
